Hi! I'm Collin and this is my music review website, Calliope Music. I am a college student with an open mind, absolutely obsessed with finding and listening to new music. I have created Calliope Music to be my database of album reviews and contemporary music commentary. I seek to evaluate and archive new music releases of ALL genres, in hopes of discovering and recommending the best that music has to offer! Keep in mind, music is a subjective art form and that all reviews and ratings seen here are of my humble opinion. If we disagree, that's ok. I will always respect your opinions too!

I rate albums on a 10 point grading scale with half measures between whole numbers. 0 is the lowest rating, while 10 is the highest. I would also like to note that rating gets exponentially more difficult to upgrade/downgrade as they get closer to the poles. This means that very high numbers (10s/9s) and very low numbers (0s/1s) are extremely difficult to give out and do not happen too often. See diagram for more info.
